Question:

Any way to be reimbursed by the Post Office?

If someone sends me a package well-labelled with "Fragile" and "Glass" all over it and the post office still manages to not only poke a hole in the side of the box, but also break to pieces the item inside, is there any way for me to reimbursed, or is the only way if the sender purchased insurance? Thanks.

  1. The sender must file any claim.

  2. No.

The post office will tell you to collect from the sender.

They cooperate about as well as any government agency.
