Any way to fix a leaky CPVC valve?

Help! I've got this leaky CPVC valve in a new plumbing setup for a water heater. It only drips when open. :( It's going to be a real pain to replace it. Is there any way to tighten this thing up? It looks like there is a plastic pop off panel on the k**b for the valve but I'm not sure. Thanks for any help!

  1. NOPE you have to replace the valve

and good luck with the CPVC in my opinion its garbage

  2. No, unfortunately those things aren't made to be repairable, just replaceable.  If it's going to be that big a pain to replace it must be in a really bad place, as the procedure isn't that complicated.
