Any way to get dog pee out of a mattress?

Our do peed on our $1400 mattress. Is it ruined?

I would say that it is ruined. You can try to take your steam cleaner attachments to it but hopefully it will all come out. i would be so mad at my dog right now if he did that. good luck!

it might not come out completely but you can use a moist soapy washcloth (or a hand carpet steam cleaner )on the surface and let it dry thoroughly before using it.  a cushioned pad is a good investment because human sweat etc can stain the mattress, too.

Well, for an expensive mattress you could try an enzyme based cleaner like Nature's Miracle...Which is available at most pet stores or pet supply stores.  

If you have a wet/dry shopvac and a bucket of water you may be able to extract the urine and then use a wet washcloth/rag and blot out the area... Use the wet/dry shopvac to extrac the water and let it dry...

Go to the store and get a waterproof, washable mattress cover to protect your investment and let FIDO sleep elsewhere!
