Any way to stop Capital One from unsolicited offers??

42 offers on my credit report since june 2007 !!! Once or twice a month, these guys just don't stop !!!!!!

1-888-5-OPT-OUT (1-888-567-8688) is the phone number for all unsolicited offers.  For Capital One specifically, follow the instructions below:

How to Opt Out:

1.  Complete and mail the Capital One Companies Opt Out Election Form (http://www.capitalone.com/legal/BankOptO... to P. O. Box 30285, Salt Lake City, UT 84130-0285; or

2.  Contact your local Capital One, N.A. banking office; or

3.  Go to http://preferences.capitalone.com (to opt out of e-mail solicitations only).

Especially do this if they send these offers with postage paid envelopes...send them back to them (this is free to you) Just put it back in the mail and write "return to sender" on the front. You may also call them and request to be taken off of their mailing list...you can find the 800 number online. I id the send the letters back thing and what happens, is they end up getting "double charged" for that letter...serves them right after all!!! Whatever you do do NOT apply for one.
