Any ways to prepare and re-prepare your muscles before a brutal tennis tryout?

Are there any techniques to relax some tired out muscles? My tryouts tend to be every day consecutively, so it's pretty challenging to go from one day to the next without some SERIOUS muscle fatigue. Any suggestions?

  1. have you tried pilates? My osteopath just recommended, actually no made me, try it for my back. I get a bad back esp from all the twisting in tennis so hes got me on the swiss ball. get one and try some exercises such as shoulder drops. It is also a great way to stretch. Too hard to explain on here but you shud be able to get a dvd on it. balls are cheap too - get a 65cm one.

  2. Hey Mike!    How are you supposed to get 2/3 of your weight in protein, when most of your weight is water plus bones??   That is nonsense.  Eat carbohydrates, take warm baths, take Ibuprofen, and don't worry too much about the tryouts.

  3. Try getting some protein in your system because it builds lean muscle mass.Depending on how much you weigh you should try to get at least 2/3 of your body weight in protein for muscle regeneration.Drink ALOT of water for muscle re-hydration because its the best thing for a quick fix. Also COLD water gets absorbed into your body faster then room temp water.STRETCH as often as you can.
