Question:

Any women get negative pregnancy tests who are pregnant?

I am taking a pole because I am frustrated that First Response says that 97% of women who are one day late for their period will get an accurate test result.

I am convinced that I am pregnant again and two days late to start my period. I took a First Response test and got a negative result this morning. I had twins almost 2 years ago and tested negative until 2 weeks after I had missed my time of month.

Do other women have this issue, or is it just my body who takes 4ever to get a readible level of HCG? I just don't believe that my body is that abnormal from 97% of other women? What do you other women think?

  1. It is possible to get a false negitive. Your body probably doesn't produce a lot of HCG, which is why you can't/couldn't get a positive. I wouldn't get my panties too much in a ruffle over it. I was a month past my time of the month and didn't get a positive on any of the tests I took 3 weeks later I was having a miscarriage.

  2. It took me 7 days to get a positive on a HPT test but a blood test picked it up straight away

  3. My pee test came out negative. Two times, blood test came out with a positive.  I was 5 weeks for all three tests.

  4. I was the same when I was pregnant, tested neg after being nearly a week late and didn't test pos til nearly 2 weeks, everyones different, and those tests never claim to be 100% accurate!! Best of luck, hope you get what you want xx

  5. With both my pregnancies my tests came out negative the first time. I waited a week and then they were both positive.
