Any women here ever used LUSH BROWN HENNA - if yes, was it good?

I used the red henna and it was gorgeous. My hair was much softer and shinier afterwards and I got all kinds of compliments.

I did not use the brown, but I had several customers come to me after they did and it gave their hair a beautiful chestnut glisten.

Even though lots of henna sites recommend mixing things in to get a "better" color, I suggest not doing so the first time, at least. Also, the cocoa butter will cause it to not dry out your hair, no matter what kinds of horror stories you hear about henna.

The dye is permanent. It's not the same as a box dye. You have to consider it the difference between paint (dye) and wood stain (henna). It usually adapts to your natural color and just enhances it.

I loved my henna, and with my really long and thick hair, just two of the little squares on the henna block was enough for one treatment for me.

Also, wrap it in a towel and wear it to bed. They recommend having it on for several hours, but it can get old having dye on your hair for hours on end.

Also, scrub your hair hard when you're in the shower, because it takes a long time to get all of the particles out.
