  1. What country are you in?  In some countries the use of steriods are prohibited.  And the use of steriods will disqualfy you from competing nationally.  Not to mention the long-term side effect of steriods, overgrowth of joint tissues where you eventually look disfigured.  Building mass is hard work and can be done, if after 3 years you can honestly say you have been dedicated to a work out program and still have not achieved your goal, then you need to see a professional trainer for a few months and get a new routine.  It is not impossible, but it mass building requires a certain workout program.  Good Luck

  2. nawww i never used steroids

  3. i don't think so, but i know some mens do.

  4. I have used steroids on two occasions.  One was to heal what we thought was an inflamed bursa but turned out to be an impingement.  The doctor was willing to give me one shot, but when it didn't work, he said that the risk to my general health was too high for repeated doses, so we searched for, and eventually found and corrected the problem

The second occasions was while I recovered from surgery on my abdomen.  The incision was a nasty one, and the doctor wanted me to heal as rapidly as I could in order to return to my full activities without the risk of re-injury at the site.  He discontinued the medication 24 hours before I was discharged so that I wouldn't have an unrealistic feeling of strength or wellness when I was discharged, and consequently do something foolish that we were trying to avoid in the first place.

In both cases, the doctors advised me that while there were benefits to the short term use, the long-term use of the medications would be too likely to damage my heart, kidneys, and so on.  I took them at their word.

Your body produces some steroids naturally. In women, estrogen production masks some of the effects.  That's why women post menopause start growing more hair, and old women sometimes get a mustache of sorts.  Taking artificial steroids before menopause will cancel out some of the heart-protective benefits of natural estrogen.

Your endocrine system is very complicated.  If you are going to try to use steroids, you really REALLY need an endocrinologist involved.  Few reputable ones will put a woman on anabolic steroids to build mass.
