Any word as to who will replace sponsorship for the Nascar Craftsman Truck series?

Sometimes I wonder if you guys ask certain questions just as news comes out about them on purpose.

Today a report came out that Lowe's brand, and occasional sponsor of Jimmie Johnson, Kobalt tools is the lead candidate for the sponsorship of the Series.

Lowe's is also looking to try & get the 'Official Home Improvement of NASCAR' status as Home Depot's contract is up this year.

I Heard possibly KOBALT tools.  That would be a good replacement.  I don't want to lose the little tool spotlight stuff that Craftsman did.

I think it funny that Home Depot is official Home Improvement of NASCAR and then all of a sudden its Lowe's. Guess they changed their mind? Money do that to you huh?  lol

I heard way back when over the winter Coors was a possibility.

kobalt, stanley tools, and napa are all supposedly interested and in the running. kobalt is supposedly the front-runner, and if they should end up the series sponsor, it is highly likely they will become "the official tools of nascar." and as it is a lowe's brand, it could also involve Lowe's become the "official home improvement store of nascar," as home depot's contract with nascar runs out this year.

To parrot the others, ESPN reported Kobalt Tools was the front-runner.  But remember, it's silly season!  Last year we were hearing that Dollar General might sponsor the Busch series!
