  1. My personal favorite is a marinated and grilled tofu steak with a mediteranean chopped salad. It's really good, and tastes a lot like a salmon steak or something.

Honestly, i love tofu. If you're having problems with the texture, freezing it and then thawing it back out before use will make it have a meatier texture. I really like doing it thai style and frying it, covering it in peanut sauce and putting it on some thai noodles. Stir fry is also a quick and tasty option.

Another easy thing to do is replace whatever meat you have in a recipe with tofu, just make sure you prepare it properly so you don't end up with something disgusting.

Silken tofu can be used for faux cheese cakes or really delicious smoothies, too.

I'll link you to that grilled tofu recipe:

  2. There are tons of good tofu dishes! Any specific kind you are looking for? There's so many but here are some good ones:

  3. Here's one I just made a few nights ago:

Steamed tofu & veggies with brown rice!

Put 1 1/2 cups rice,  3 cups water, and 1 T salt in a small pot. Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer and cover for 45 minutes.

    Meanwhile....

You need a steamer insert for your stockpot

In your pot, boil 1" water with 2 Tablespoons of Bragg's Liquid Aminos, reduce to medium-low heat,

Arrange 1/4 head of cauliflower florets in steamer insert, and steam for 3 minutes

Add chopped broccoli & tofu, steam another 3 min.

Add chopped kale, bean sprouts, bokchoy, steam an additional 10 minutes.

You can use whatever sauce you want on it, I chose tamari soy sauce with tahini

    YUMM-O!

  4. * I like firm tofu for stir fries or veggie & tofu kebabs.

    Veggie BBQ skewers are great

[1] Chop tofu into medium sized cubes, marinate over night (I’m using Thai yellow curry).

[2] Chop veggies medium/large pieces (I like capsicum, squash, mushroom, zucchini, eggplant, cherry tomatoes, red onions)

[3] Stick veggies & tofu on skewer

[4] BBQ for a few minutes

[5] Serve with salad, leb bread or what ever you like.

  5. Nicole D. is right, I've tried that at a friend's house (a dish sort of like that) and it was realllyy good! I usually don't like tofu, so it was a great intro [:
