First of all, to Zippy, I'm pretty sure Holly can spell.  She's using this weird new fangled thing called internet speak.  Because I'm older (38)  I don't speak it fluently, but I get by.  To Holly, we homeschool in Canada, but our kids are probably too young.  If you want to meet some homeschool friends, you could try searching for homeschool co-ops in your area.  They normally have a lot of events, field trips, sports, outings, workshops, volunteering and what not.  I hope you find what you're looking for.

I was homeschool up until I hit grade 8. Why don't you try going out and meeting people. Outdoor socialization is the key to a happy life in your younger years. I don't know what the weather is like where you are right now, but here in Ontario it's beautiful.

I hope you are involved with a home school group so you can get to know others like yourself. If not talk to your parents about doing so.
