  1. Here is a large list of free virtual schools:

also, k12.com is a great one

  2. Generally, in life you get what you pay for, and I don't think this is an exception.  Especially for an accredited institution to go through the trouble of making their courses electronically accessible--I'd be really surprised if there are any free ones.  The only free schools I know of are public schools, but when you get into correspondence and degree programs the only ones I know of have fees.  You might look into a community college near where you live, as they often offer basic education classes for a much lower price than even the state university, and sometimes even online classes.

As for the work permit, I am not an expert but as far as I understand it that comes from residing in a particular state and filing taxes there, which wouldn't necessarily happen if all classes are online and could be taken in any state--you might talk to a high school or college counselor about how that works.

    Good luck!

  3. If you google it, you will fand many websites.=]

  4. highschoolontheweb

just type that into google its either .com or .net

    is free

  5. "There's no such thing as a free lunch;" or education in this case. Unfortunately, there are no 'free schools' that I am aware of. However, as homeschooling is becoming more and more popular in North America and in Europe, a number of organizations that offer memberships to their 'schools' and access to materials are becoming quite common. I have used resources from the following websites in the past and found the materials and staff very helpful and professional.

    1)http://www.homeschool.com/

    2)http://www.home-school.com/

  6. There are free online schools, but only in the states that allow them.  They are not "homeschools" but rather, public schools at home.

Since you didn't list the state, I can't give you specifics, but here are the two main virtual school providers.  Look up your state on both of them.
