Hope he makes it: i'm not a Red Sox fan, but that guy was pure class on and off the field.

  1. he had chest pains, but he'll  be  fine.


  2. He Had successful Bypass surgery at Mass General Hospital

  3. The latest reports from the Boston Media are that he had a Triple Bypass surgery last night at Mass General Hospital.  (If you need something like that, MGH is a world class hospital and part of Harvard Medical School.)  He had a series of tests earlier in the week and apparently has coronary heart disease (I don't know if this was found this week or in the past).  But this week they did find blockages, thus prompting the surgery.    

    He seems to be doing well post surgery.

    Also - his 69th birthday will be this coming Friday.  Happy Birthday Yaz!  Get Well!
