nah, i think its good. if they go around changing everything then thats just stupid. just leave everything as it is.

NO WAY, i think at the umps discretion he should be able to give a 15m one for minor offences, it is stupid for grabbing a jumper ever so slightly, its too much at time.

Considering it used to be 15 metres,  50's more than enough.  The only penalty harsher than that without a report is a shot on goal from point blank range.  Now that's a thought...

no, of course not.

50 meters is the perfect distance for a second infringment. To get a 50m penalty, you must have done something wrong TWICE (or after another player has taken a mark)

If its in the center circle, I will go to 30m in front of goal. If your 60 out, your at the top of the square....from wherever on the ground you are, most times, a 50 will give you a good scoring opportunity.

I think the 50m penalty is far enough, I dont think that it should be extended at all. Besides 50m makes a huge difference to the team who got the penalty awarded to them, it could be right in front of the goals depending on where the inringment occured.

no, not really....50m is long enough...

if an umpire makes a bad decision and gives a 50 away that could give an advantage to the opposing side.
