many ppl would tell you the same, it DEPENDS !

starbucks, for simple black coffee: around 3-4 pounds

for the local coffee shop: 1-2pounds

if you drink fairtrade: 80p

Buy granulated coffee.. worth the price for the number of cups.

Cafe nero, Mayfair  Grande = £2.80

Carluccios, Canary wharf  =   £2.00

Most greasy spoons= from £0.75p

London is way too expensive... Try coming down to Buenos Aires it's 1.50 us dollars...or less, depends where you go of course. I've been told around 2 - 3 pounds is a reasonable price.
