Anybody Familiar With Edenton Or Wilmington North Carolina?

I've researched both and they sound like great places to live. But I couldn't find anything about pubic transportation. I can't drive because of a vision problem(not correctable). Are there buses and taxis? Are daily neccessities like groceries and pharmacies within walking distance? Thanks for any help.

It all depends on what neighborhood you live in.  UNC Wilmington is there so all the amenities associated with a college town can be found.

Wave Transit runs buses and shuttles in the city.  There is  taxi service but it does get pricey.
