Anybody been on a cruise around Barbados, Aruba, etc ? Was it worthy ?

I mean, the greatest beaches are not in those harbour towns, arent they ?

I have been to both places, Barbados on a cruise and Aruba for  5 day stay.  Barbados beaches are great, we had a tour that stopped at a couple fo them, but not spactacular.  I would go back to Barbados but you can find beaches as nice other places in the Caribbean.

We flew and stayed in Aruba for 5 days and I will say that the beaches are beautiful, I loved them.  But again, I would not go all that way just for the beach.  In Aruba we stayed at the Mariott which is outside of town a few miles.  Picking between the two, its a toss up.

hated aruba ...love barbados...could stay there forever, the harbor towns have good beaches but not the best usually too touristy and crowded.Rather than a cruise rent a villa at royal westmorland on barbados and enjoy
