  1. Well,

St.Maarten/St.Martin has 30 beaches including Orient Bay.

If you are thinking about going in April you will have a lot of fun because it is carnival time. 2 weeks of carnival in Stmaarten. Orient Bay is nice because you can choose if you wanna be in the naturist side  just having a sunbathing and relax. or hangout eat, drink, walk etc. (i know you mention, not nude)

There Maho beach where you can see the planes landing.

    Temp. 28 Celsius.

    Good luck!!

I hope you have a lot of fun.!!!

  2. Good choice, St Maarten-St Martin is a great place to visit. Theres plenty of fun and relaxing things to do there. About those nude beaches make sure you don't walk onto one with clothes on, you'll like an idiot. Fun things to do on the island are jet skiing, parasailing and shopping. There are endless amounts of  activities and, alot in the capital philipsburg.

I recommend you visit zebrabot.com if you want to find out more, its run by people who live there. You can search anything in their search bar and find it.

  3. Unless you are only there for a few hours on a ship, rent a car. You will miss a lot of the island if you don't.

37 beaches ranging from good to spectacular. You are subject to see topless on any of them. Orient is the only official nude one and the nude folks stay predominately around the Club Orient resort on its south end. This is a great beach with lots of amenitities you should not miss. That said, some of the more remote beaches may see occasional nude use. It's not a big deal. If it bothers you, just move on.

OK, some suggestions not already mentioned.

    - Dine at a fine restaurant in in Grand Case.

    - Eat at a lolo. We like Talk of the Town in Grand Case. Many people enjoy Mark's in the shopping center with LeGrand Marche on the Dutch side.

    - Take the ferry from Cul de Sac and spend the day on Pinel Island.

    - Do the Simpson Bay pub crawl aboard the Celine.

    - Stop at a roadside bakery on the French side and buy  baguettes and pasteries.

    - Check out wines at the Match supermarket in Marigot.

    - Visit the butterfly farm at LeGalion.

    - Check out the happy hours. Sunset Beach Bar is usually an interesting place to people watch and watch the planes land. Topless women drink free.

    - Visit the casinos.

    - Try the zip lines at Loterie Farm and check out its restaurant afterward.

    - Visit the MaDouDou shack near Cul de Sac and buy several bottles of their infused rums.

    - Visit Tintamarre via one of the island day sails like the Celine, Golden Eagle, or TikoTiko.  Pick a day when there there are no cruise ships in port. (TikoTiko is awesome, but most people taking it opt for no clothes)

    - Visit Fort St. Louis in Marigot

    - Day trip to Anguilla, Saba, or Prickley Pear.

    - Visit the open-air market in Marigot on Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
