  1. I was. There was some nice scenery in most parts, but there were also a few wet or barren areas.

  2. The West coast has loads to offer! From Lisdoonvarna to cliffs of Moher to trad pubs in Doolin. Then there's the Burren, and Donegal, and all of Connemara - wow.

  3. I've been there many times, I live not far from the Limerick/Kerry coastline.

It's pretty wild at the moment, with this big wind blowing in from the Atlantic. Big waves, I should imagine.

  4. i live about 40 miles from the west coast, its what you expect it to be, most of it is isolated, rugged, wild and beautiful.

  5. I love the west, it is full of stone walls and rocky fields with white horses, the wind comes straight in off the atlantic and i swear it is so fresh i never had a hangover despite my best efforts. The gaeltacht region is amazing unlike anywhere else, Galway city is beautiful... what else you wanna know?

  6. it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been! Galway is a great little college town with tons of stuff to do. Take a tour to the cliffs of Moher - AMAZING - if it's a clear day! I would live there if I could!
