it depends on what kind you want. for example if u want to relax adn have a simple and peaceful holiday there are Sri Aurobindo Ashram guesthouses which are very cheap. it think the lowest rates are rs. 150 or so. but concerning luxury and all, u will find rooms in hotels such annamalai, ananda inn for over rs.3000 a night too....so i guess u have ti decide on ur expenditure adn find out accordingly....
