Question:

Anybody doing more than five highers?

I've just began S5 and am wondering whether anybody has sat/ is doing more than five highers? I'm sitting seven highers-five at school and two at college-and I'm hoping whether anybody could give me any advice following past experiences/similar circumstances.

The subjects I shall be sitting are:

Maths

English

Geography

Biology

Chemistry

Physics

Psychology

I acknowledge the fact that the year lying ahead will be really challenging but the only reason I'm doing seven highers is because of the high competition of the course in University I-hopefully-will be applying for!

Thanks!:D

  1. well, you will have to work very very hard.  i know somebody that sat 5 or 6 highers and they literally had to lock themselves in their room and worked continueously in order to get the straight  A's.

  2. No answer to this because I'm already at Uni, but I just wanted to say well done, and wish you the very best of luck. Read over all the stuff you did each day, and keep it fresh in your head, so that when it comes over exam time, you won't have to cram all this *new* info in. Time management is a godsend, but keep time to relax too. Balance is the key. Yes, it will be hard going at times, but if you stay organised, you will do well. :)

P.S. Don't pressure yourself to get straight A's all the way. You will do better in some subjects than others. Just do your best in each one. Uni's like someone who gives their best, not someone who freaks out if they are less than perfect. :)
