Anybody else dissapointed with Cedar Point's fireworks tonight?

for what they charge at that park, the fireworks display was pretty cheesy this year!

You weren't paying for the fireworks.

You were paying for the rides and the entertainment.

Cedar Point pays to put those on, as a 'Thank You' to the patrons. Sandusky doesn't even put on fireworks, as the town can see the fireworks from Cedar Point's beach.

I thought they were good, and I was standing by the railing close to the entrance to the Raptor.

Additional Details:

Cedar Point has LOWERED ticket prices to those who stay informed. I payed $33 apiece for 4 tickets because I paid online. They are being very sensitive to people's spending due to high gas prices. If people can't afford to drive, they won't be driving to the amusement parks. So ticket prices are much more affordable. Last year, they were $42? apiece? So, they aren't "raking" in what you think.

I really liked Cedar Point's fireworks....I drove 30 minutes to see them because they are by far the best in this area.  I even paid the $10 to park in the parking lot just to watch them (I only went to watch the fireworks)!  You paid to visit Cedar Point to ride the rides....not to see the fireworks, so stop complaining about them.  On normal days, they do not have a fireworks show!  If you wanted to see your good fireworks, you should have stayed at Marion to watch them.

AND, what money they rake in creates new and better rides, as well as make the economy in the surrounding area great.  That 364-acre peninsula creates A LOT of money for this area, so they could put on a "crappy" fireworks show and we (the people in the surrounding area) could care less!
