  1. YES! I cringe when I have to go get a haircut. I have asked many what they would recommend for my face shape and they never know! It is very frustrating...I feel your pain!

  2. Yeah, I haven't had a decent haircut in years. They just don't do it properly and the last one was absolutely terrible. I went home and felt like crying. I have short hair and just want it cut 'gamin style', but they can't even do that properly!

I've been to every hairdresser in my town and I don't know what to do next, 'cos I have two kids and haven't got the time to travel outta town.

  3. I have a mobile hairdresser. She calls to the house. She is an experienced hair-stylist who doesn't want to work full time. I found her ad in one of our local papers a few years ago. She is brilliant and cheaper than the shops. You should look out for one.

  4. Hi Jackie, when you find a good hairdresser let me know.   My sister and I have both had a disastrous experience with a mobile hairdresser only last week. We wanted to look good for her daughters 40th but apart from putting a hat on I don't know what we'll do.She looks as if she's had a mohican and mine looks like a bell. Don't forget let me know if you do find a hairdresser as I also live just in the north of Manchester.Have bell will travel anywhere to get rid of it.

  5. Absolutely. There is nowhere left in my area to try. I would not go back to a single one of them.

You can very clearly say what you want ( and don`t want ) it makes no difference whatsoever. They are a scissor-happy bunch with their own agenda.

I am a hairdresser, but I can`t find a single one to do it my way.

  6. i find the same problem, girls who take a hairdressing course so they dont get involved in crack and tennage pregnancy, i go to a ocal old barbers where he has been cutting for years because he understands how hair suits and does what i want also he's really cheap!

  7. I've just found a good hairdresser in London, she actually listened to me & she was'nt one of those sneaky cutters, who cut abit here then take your hair up at another angle & cut the same bit again,I was really pleased with the cut & even thoe I live in Milton Keynes,I'm definatly going back to her, last time I went to the hair dresser's in MK the woman was half way through & I said STOP!!!,just leave it, I'm going to end up with a head of fluff,so my hair was half done,I hate it when a hairdresser can't cut because they ent exactly cheep & yes its true what your saying they call themselfs professional but really thier clients are thier guinnie pigs for learning,it's such a shame & once your hair is cut it takes so long to grow back,I hope you find a hairdresser that you like soooooon :)
