Anybody else having problems with AT&T u verse?

my TV constantly freezes. 20+ times a day sometimes for 2 seconds and sometimes for close to an hour.

  1. This is not normal... There is a good chance you have a connection problem either between your gateway and DVR or between your gateway and AT&T.

    Call AT&T and report the problem 1 800 ATT 2020.

    (Intrested in looking for yourself ? Point a computer locally connected to your gateway to http://gateway.2wire.net/mdc . You will need the password printed on the sticker on the side of your gateway. Look for errors under your broadband link statistics or local network. If you find them I recommend going to http://utalk.att.com for user help. )


  2. This happened to me as well once.  The Uverse tech had to replace a surge protector that ATT has at the interface to the outside wire where the outside line enters the house (in other words you can't fix it yourself).  Call them.  It took the Tech 5 minutes.
