  1. Not all doctors have the same protocol.

I know you didn't ask for my personal advice, but what I would start doing immediately is tracking your cycles every single day, making sure you are having s*x at the exact right time (before ovulation).  It could be you are not having s*x on the right day ~ or that you're having s*x too much and thus his sperm count will not be up to par.

If you are already doing these tings and having s*x on the right day and still not preggers, they'll check his situation out, which they are doing. After that they may do some bloodwork to check you out some more.  There could be luteal phase issues or something hormonal.

For now, just wait on his results; that will really give you a ton of information.  :-)

  2. i think he'd do more tests

or refeer you to the gynocolists

they will do (this is what i had

hsg - where they check your tubes

and maybe an ovary scan (if pcos is suspected)

    maybe more blood tests

(also we had sperm tests, and day 21)

i don't really understand why he hsn't refeered you straight to a gynocoist as they know a grate deal more about fertilly -  but i guess every dr is different (and some are more helpful than others, maybe yours is trying to be helpful - and guess it cuts some of the waiting times out as well)

i think the next step after the tests would be a treatment plan so maybe something like clomid.

  3. Hi there. Yes, I'm in the same boat. It usually is bloodwork, followed by getting a s***n sample from your man, and if everything pans out ok, most docs prescribe Clomid, which increases your chances, but you said you are already ovulating, so, not sure. I've had a couple of vaginal ultrasounds, have you been checked for pcos? There are a series of different things the dr might consider. But don't be nervous, I freaked out about everything, and in the end, it wasn't worth worrying at all! Just let your dr do his/her thing, and they should lead you in the right direction. And if you want this question answered even better, ask the dr! Everyone is different, depending on their dx. Lottas luck! :0
