Anybody else live near national convention dnc/rnc?

helicopters flying around every five minutes, streets blocked off, barricades near certain hwys. Its crazy. The traffic is going to be nutts! Im sure it was even more jammed in denver (it'll be interesting to see the numbers).

And Im wondering how MN's rep are going to react to Mccain not picking Pawlenty.

5-10 miles from the RNC.. Its a zoo

Minnesota delegates are glad.. We need him here to hold off the tax-n-spend DFL.

I live an hour from DNC and am so happy to have had that distance, although the temps did heat up when it was supposed to be cold one day.

I have been wondering about the Pawlenty thing too, but let's face it there would have been 10,000 protesters finding things wrong with him just like Palin.
