Heck no!!

The idea is sound, raising money to save gorillas and all, but GO (Gorilla Organization) are completely ineffective as an NGO, too obsessed with their image than actually helping.

When the gorillas were being slaughtered last year, they said everything was fine for weeks while news and pictures of silver backs, juveniles and pregnant gorilla's were executed (due to politics - Nord Kivu is an interesting place). By the time they spoke, it was all past, eventually stirred into action by shame.

If you can, donate to an NGO that is effective in the field. They are out there!!
