Anybody ever been to kings island in ohio?

i'm going there this summer.

what should i expect?

also..would i need to wear shorts with like

cargo pockets so i don't have to put my stuff

in a locker??

i'm going to be taking my camera and the

rest of my main things..like money..that stuff..

Yeah i live in mason and you should bring shorts and possibly a bathing suit and a t-shirt. Yeah pockets are good and bring alot of $$$ because entrance without a gold pass is like 20$ plus parking. So have fun and you will probably get wet.

It's a really great park with lots of roller coasters and other fun rides.  The best thing to wear are carrgo shorts with deep pockets.  You may also want to bring a small backpack or somthing with you to hold extras.

i live really close to there. You should have a lot of fun!! many people use the lockers..hopefully it isnt too hot when you go! But if so, there is a huge air conditioned building w/ food in it..

There is a great area for kids. And the water park area is sooo much fun.  

A lot of roller coasters! Drop zone is really fun, and flight of fear is an inside roller coaster thats extremely fast & fun.

Plenty of food options while walking around..

there is a train that will take you from the roller coaster area to the water park area..

not really sure what else to say, but i'm sure you will have a lot of fun :]

Just a bunch of roller coasters and rides and yeah its a good idea to wear shorts with pockets or else you'll have to pay for a locker.

Cargo pockets are a great idea, so many people have lost money and cell phones while riding.

I always bring:

-a couple advil or whatever in case I get a headache, riding rides and coasters with a headache is pure h**l

-a few pieces of gum

-my cell

-money

-chapstick

Also, here are some hints:

-wear comfortable shoes, I cannot stress that enough.

-wear sunblock.

-do not wear big earrings or necklaces because they will hit you in the face while riding.

-wear a hair tie around your wrist, nobody's hair looks pretty after a long day on thrill rides and coasters lol

Yes it would be a good idea to wear shorts with cargo pockets.  There are lockers available at the main gate and there are also lockers available at the crypt and firehawk attractions.  I normally don't use the lockers just place items in my pocket.
