Anybody ever see anybody surf jaws in Hawaii?

There are a ton of videos on YouTube of people towing into that monster wave. Whoever named that place nailed it.

I've only watched on line but WOW !! I don't see how those guys can stand up on a wave that big with "balls" so hugh.

yes i did see it and during the summer of 2006 i was at the best site to surf jaws during the winter, and its amazing to see them actually surf these huge waves, and during this winter i might be going back to see it again

Yeah, I sure have, and it's really awesome! I lived in Kahului, Maui for a long time, and went over to Paia just to watch the waves and people like Laird get towed out to surf in. I was transferred to O'ahu, so now I get to go up to the North Shore, Hale'iwa and around there, to watch when the waves are big and try it when they're not so.  It really is incredible to watch the really big ones live, a real rush. But there's nothing like Jaws...
