Anybody familiar with Bueanaventura, Colombia?

I'm traveling to Buenaventura, Colombia & this Gringo would appreciate any insight or opinions. Firstly, is it safe? It is better to fly from Cali or to drive? Any recommended activities?

  1. 1- it is not safe.

    2- yes u can drive from Cali to buenaventura

    3-the beach is not clear water

    4-if u going now the wheater is bad

    why u no go to San Andres? cartagena or go to El eje cafetero is in ARMENIA like 3 hr from Cali ans it is beautiful so much staff to do like panaca-El parque Del cafe
