I'm taking September 21 through October 17 off. I'm budgeting around 12,000 USD for the trip (including airfare). Where should I go? My friends probably won't be able to join me.

I'm a 29 year old single American guy living in Saudi Arabia.

  1. You can travel around Europe. There are tons of friendly people.Italy,Greece,Spain,England,France...

  2. Come to Venezuela! We have the Andes, we have the Tepuys ( high flat mountains in the jungle, unique in this world! ), we have thousands of miles of beaches with the most beautiful girls in the world and it's on the Caribbean Sea! Visit Los Roques, a special trip if you like snorkeling or diving, pristine waters and a bounty of coral reef marine life... there's Margarita Island, the tourist Island with everything your heart desires and Puerto Piritu where we have our Holistic Healing Centre. Google Earth it all! To top it all, it's organic food here, fresh, delicious and the whole trip is really not expensive!

  3. Come to New England. Maine is stunning at that time of year. Go mountain climbing, kayaking, white water,fishing.hiking,lobsters,hunting,au... life! If you want the night life pop down to Portland,Bangor(Home of U of Maine @ Orano. Many more places and things to do. Tagger

  4. As you are living in Saudi Arabia and you are an American, i suppose you are in Riyadh. I would suggest you to head to Dubai via Qatar. Qatar is one of the most peaceful countries in the world, however it is starting to get populated especially in its capital Doha. One of the worlds most natural and most beautiful project is under construction, The Pearl Qatar. It is just like an Island having a bridge to Doha and is shaped exactly like a Pearl, it is the MOST naturalistic project I have ever seen. I recommend you visit Sealine beach resort, one of the most best places in Qatar containing sand dunes and a beautiful and peaceful resorts with Quad Bikes and amazing dinner served as well as good and comfy accomodation units for tourists and locals. Qatar has also undergone massive improvements, and is now in the Top 5 wealthiest countries in the world! Next Dubai would be great as it represents one of the most beautiful skyline you could imagine, similar to Qatar. I don't think that you would ask me about Dubai, you would probably know about it. The budget spent here would be no more than $3000 (including airfare).

    Hope this helps you!
