Anybody got information on the flooding in Ecuador?

My daughter is in the Tena area of equador and we are unable to ascertain the severety of the flooding in that area.Anyone have current info?

Has anybody heard anything about the situation in the small towns of Misahualli and Mayuna just outside of Tena??? I was vounteering there last year and am really concerned for the families that we help...

my sister has just emailed this to us (received 6pm GMT in UK)

"On Tuesday night the worst floods in 30 hit Tena. I´ve seen pcitures as I wasn´t here and it´s jsut unimaginabel the high lev el o the river. lots of epople left without homes and town feels very subdued The water is mostly back to normal level but the destruction remains and it´s still raining. Everythign is covered in mud"

I am sure she would have told us if people has been hurt. Hope this helps to put your mind at ease.
