Anybody had an idea on pipe routing?

I want to know more on pipe routing in piping system.

When I worked for a very large engineering and construction firm such problems were a specialty unto themselves, often having a special team of engineers assigned to just that subject for plant design---nothing but piping, but believe me there was plenty of it ! It got in its own way as far as layout was concerned.

Not only were there engineer-level specialist but the designers too were specially qualified for such problems.

we need more information to what your actually asking......pipe routing comes down to your total layout of the environment you are designing your pipe system in, whether it be in a mine or oil/gas/domestic/commerical or civil side of things

it also depends on the piping software you are using and there are plenty of these out there ie: autoplant/plantspace/pds

please give us more information so that we can answer your question accuratley

EDIT:

steer clear of pipe routing in PDS a very dangerous tool to use.  I haven't used PDS for years but from what i remember there was alot of problems using this tool, stick to running your line in the correct flow direction from point A to point B
