Anybody has had an operation after a slipped disc?

  1. I had a laminectomy to remove the bulge of the disc. It did work totally in fact I do heavy work again, just careful how I lift heavy objects.

    I tolerated the pain etc for over 2 years and finally had the surgery.  I wish now I would not have waited so long.  


  2. Yes, after years of pain and every treatment under the sun. I had a spinal fusion and now I am about 90%. Pain is next to nothing most of the time, but I can actually live again. Good luck

  3. my husband had the operation to remove slipped disc's and he was told it wouldnt cure the pain but it would straighten him up as he was bent over to one side and he is still in a lot of painso his answer to this is it isnt not worth having the op unless your bent over or if the pain is too unbearable it might ease the pain a bit
