Anybody have a felony i need help

where can i find a job i got a first dergree armed robbery felony??? companies that arnt to retarted???

one thing you will need to learn to live with is that you will be suspect for awhile.  you'll take what jobs you can get.  keep you nose clean, work hard and build yourself a new rep; this one based on diligence and hard work.

try construction sites, warehouses.  you may start as no more than the clean up guy; deal.  things do get better over time.

I work as an Employment Specialist and I work with many people who have records.

I am sorry to say you have limited options available to you.

The system has passed laws that allow the employers the right to do background checks, which include criminal, motor vehicle, credit and drug testing. our lives are now open books to everyone that wants to look.

There is nothing you can do about it, but find some company that does not do background checks.

Do not lie on your application, if you do they will never hire you, instead be up front and then explain to them what happened, how you went through a bad time and show them what you have accomplished to change. The employer has the right to hire no matter what your record it is their choice so you have to learn how to sell yourself even harder now.

The problem is people are kept so busy now (just what the government wants) working 60+ hours a week that we dont even know what laws are being passed until its too late. These laws are making more  and more criminals out of the every day society and sooner then later there are going to be less and less employable people due to legal records, credit records or what have you............they (the powers dont realize) that by controlling to strongly they will eventually loose controll of it all.
