Question:

Anybody have a good dvd/video game storage solution?

My boyfriend and I literally have hundreds of dvd's and video games, as well as cd's. We have a couple of shelves for them, but they don't all fit and they're mismatched.

I've thought of designing and building a couple of shelving units for them. By my calculations, we need about 40 feet of shelf space to accommodate the present collection with a little room for future expansion. I've found a couple of shelving units online that would hold our collection, but they'd cost like $600!

I'm looking for advice from anybody else who may have solved this storage problem in a relatively inexpensive manner. Thanks!

  1. I love these apothocary units for DVD's and games.  They cost less than you can make them for, and you can organize them by genre and label the drawers.

I also bought a real library card unit (the old fashioned kind that they used to store library cards in) off of Ebay that matches really well for game card storage, they would also fit casset tapes.
