  1. animal crackes

  2. Well toddlers are kinda tough to feed. For Jungle day, you could use animal crackers. Maybe the kind with frosting. To make it educational, you could ask what each kid thinks the animal is or looks like.

  3. We Love bagel cream cheese faces. They can make the faces resemble jungle animals, (within reason). this is a great fine motor skill activity as well as confidence and imagination booster.

You take half a mini bagel and let them spread the cream cheese on it with a plastic knife. Then you use green and red peppers. You can use other veggies as well. This is where you can be creative. Let them cut shapes of peppers for eyes and mouths out of a piece you have precut for them. They can make long ears, sharp teeth etc.  They will love eating their creations! :) Make sure you take their photo with their creation to put up on the wall afterwards.

  4. my brother had a how to project and even though spiders arnt really in the jungle its a cutre idea

-made like a peanut butter and cracker sandwhich

-stick eight pretzels (4 on each side) in between the pretzels

also you can go to family fun or just google it for cute ideas

  5. Raw brocolli heads make trees,  carrot sicks for logs and use veges to make an animal a potato for a body, raisins or sultanas for ears, a carrot stick for a tail, celery sticks for legs, have fun be inventive.  Use toothpicks to hold your animal together.  Good luck and healthy eating.

  6. I have a great one my mom used to make, and it's healthy.

Get celery, peanut butter, and raisins. Chop the celery into three or four inch lengths. (Chop horizontally so you retain the trough or canal in the celery). Fill the trough with peanut butter and place the raisins in a line in the peanut butter. It's called Ants on a Log; kids love it! Or at least I did...

  7. Creepy Crawlers Snacks

    Dirt N' Worms:

Crumbled Oreo cookies in a cup with gummy worms.

    Tropical fruit tray:

Bananas, pineapples, star fruit, mangos, and any other tropical fruits you like. Just cut them up into small one inch pieces. This makes it just right for small hands.

    Decorated cupcakes:

Make your favorite flavor cupcakes and decorate them as different animals using different colors of frosting and candies.

Animal Crackers with peanut butter to dip into.

    Tropical Trail Mix:

Add different kinds of dried tropical fruits and nuts;pineapple, coconut, papaya, macadamian nuts, brazil nuts... and whatever else you want add.

  8. Think jungle colors, shapes, envirnment textures! Green comes to mind when I think Safari, so how about fruity, green punch? Apples or berries, fruits you'd find in the jungle. Just as if you'd like more ideas.

Just avoid the dreaded goldfish! You can do better than that. (even though they're delicious)

  9. When my daughter was in preschool I took in a gallon of chocolate milk made with ovaltine and ritz smorez cracker snacks. The kids loved it!

oops sorry I didnt see the jungle safari theme....hmmm I'll have to think for that one.

Okay I found this site that has some great ideas for your jungle safari snack...I hope this helps!!!!
