Anybody have a large house boat? if so have you ever moved it? how much would this cost?

I am planning to take a houseboat down the Mississippi river i am wondering how much it would cost to have it moved 500 miles.

Does it have engines?  Have you considered the Tenn Tom?  Where are you leaving from, how big?

I know somone that sailed a boat from Hilton Head to Atlantic City about 2 years back. Cost over $5,000.00 in gas. You won't have it that bad, but it's not going to be cheap. Good luck, fair winds.
