Anybody have an arm clot from IV?

Had surgery on August 20th. Last Sunday after 3 days home I went to ER for swollen arm. Anyway turns out I have a clot in my left arm from IVs.

Anybody here have one before and how did you recover? Also, my anxiety levels are very high. I'm having a hard time not getting depressed.

I am under dr.'s care, I go in once a week now to get ultrasound on arm. He also prescribed aspirin for clotting.

I'm just scared.

It is very good that you had it picked up early.

Small clots often happen from IV sites, and sometimes they get bigger.

As long as the clots is able to break down while staying in your arm, you will be fine.
