you could get those buckets that ppl use to make sand castles and use them for punch bowls or something. make the theme "The Beach"

if kids are staying late you could rent that movie too!

Really cheesy but funny how about Morris men and may poles. English tea party with croquet on the lawn.

Hawaiian party - flowers, limbo cocktails, grass skirts

Beach party - BBQ, swim suits, beach ball

hmm...im planning to have one this summer too after finals loll

its gonna b game-themed.

water balloon fight/toss, childhood games like red rover, a jellybean relay  race, obstacle course, toilet paper toga party, dressing up and taking pics, possibly face painting (if we have time and its not too lame :P), playing the Wii, taboo, cranium, twister, apples to apples, watching new movies bought on comcast or rented thru blockbuster, play classic indoor games like truth-or-dare, hot potato, mafia, charades, twenty questions, facials and spa activites, makeup, watch gossip girls and gossip, and for movies - we're gonna do chick flicks like 27 dresses and/or made of honor..

u kno..a casino party with mocktinis and mocktails wud b kinda fun..especially if everyone dresses up..u cud do a sleepover too

go to the lake/ocean/river, build a fire and invite everyone to come. buy some drinks for everyone.

Clambake or seafood boil.  Especially if you have something that can be used as a fire pit!

might not be ur kind of thing, but for my birthday i wanna have an 'op shop' party, where u all just go to second hand stores and buy cheap ugly as  clothes and have a good laugh at eachother...
