I deal with vertigo what seems like on a daily basis and can get no help. Doctors say to just deal with it and everyone else says it will just go away. I have three kids and I am very busy and can not just deal with it as it has begun to affect my driving. Not good with three kids

  1. Vertigo means just like dizziness.

Its deals with ear problem i.e., tear of ear structure and deposition of dust.

    Its affects the balance.

Try to avoid cold exposure ,frequent head baths and travelling.

Do some exercise for your eye muscles and have consultation with neurologist.

  2. I have recurrent bouts of vertigo related to insomnia.  I've found that the lower amounts/lower quality of sleep, the greater the degree & frequency of insomnia.  10 minutes of breathing exercises &/or 25 min of walking seems to make it go away.  Reading or doing activities that require keeping visual focus during an episode of vertigo tends to make it worse.

Here's what wikipedia has to say about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vertigo_(me...

It says vertigo is usually due to inner ear problems affecting balance.  I can vouch that this is not the cause of mine.  A link from the above wikipedia page gives some treatment options in light of the particular cause: http://www.vertigocure.org/

Hope you find a strategy that works for you.  Maybe you can walk the kids to the park & circle the play area as they play together.
