My company, voestalpine Elmsteel Inc, is in need of collectors for these types of materials. We bale our own paper, plastics (plastic packaging film, LDPE supplier straps), and cardboard. we also have post-consumer plastics (predominantly bottles).

  1. walmart has the container you might call and ask them how they attained them.

  2. Well, if the paper has no cardboard in it, all of the schools in NW Indiana, especially Hammond, have Abitibi Recycling retrievers.  The paper is collected each week, and the money earned goes to that school for programs and events.  One school used their earnings to bring a school band back. As to some of your other items, there is a recycling center in N. Hammond, near Wolf Lake.  It's an environmental center where they host events and field trips.  The kids use recycled products to make art and craft projects.  They also use the items in creative ways for the community to see. Also, a few times a year, Substation #9 in Downtown Hammond, hosts a recycling event.  It's basically an art contest where the entrants must use recycled materials.

These are just a few suggestions for you.  Best of luck!
