Anybody have the front bumper problem being so low on a 06, 07 or 08 Jetta that it catches and comes off?

This is like the third time now in 12 mos. Anything you can do to fix it or secure it better? This must be a design flaw no?

this used to happen to me all the time! (i got rid of my stupid vw-but for other reasons) the bumper sits very low-you just have to make sure you dont get too close to the bumper thing-i had two lovely holes from freaking rebar in my car-infiniti's are like this too fyi. the only thing you can do would be to have the bumper raised-maybe see if they can take off the lower part and customize a bumper that sits a little higher.

Volkswagen's are a little lower than some other cars, but not by much (especially a MkV Jetta). I don't want to sound like a jerk but maybe practice parking to learn your distance from objects. I park to far away from curbs because my depth perception isn't that great and like to play it safe.
