Question:

Anybody have tricks for getting to sleep???

i am nine months pregnant and am finding it more difficult to get to sleep. i have tried a warm bath, yoga, and just laying there. but nothing i do seems to work. i have always had sleep problems before but i was perscribed medication to help. now that i am pregnant i can' t take any thing.

somebody PLEASE help me. i'm about to drive myself nuts!!!

  1. i had the same problem when i was pregnant, my doctor perscribed me medication that i could while pregnant, and man did it help


  2. read books. they helped me.

  3. Why don't you have your husband give you a massage right before bed.  It will relax your muscles and your body and you might not be so tense when you get into bed.  

  4. I remember that time. It can be pretty bad especially if you have restless leg syndrome also. I would say to try relaxation methods such as meditations. I know you have already tried a bath and yoga but really trying to clear you mind should help during this uncomfortable time.  

  5. yeah me to felt the same way in the 9 month n wont just get sleep at night...i started going for evening walks so i felt more tired...i also avoided sleeping for long hrs during the day n shifted to a small nap of about an hr in the afternoon..try these they might help...u can also keep a pillow under ur feet while u sleep..take care!!
