Anybody heard of Amina Mustafa who is sending an e-mail saying she is sick/dying and wants to give 4 Mil $?

Amina Mustafa sent me an e-mail saying she is from Saudia Arabia. She is sick/dying of cancer and wants to give 4 Million to me to be used for Christian purposes per her instructions. Sounds like another scam or am I being the society induced paranoid?

please do not answer any mail of this sort , people are being cheated out of their money this way all year long

it is a way to get your bank account number to supposedly give you money !

BEWARE, it is one of the most common scam letter being send to people all over the world ,

Yeah, definitely, DEFINITELY a scam. They do these things all the time, and I guarantee that this is just another one of them, and a pretty simple/easy to spot one at that.

Does sound nice though, doesn't it?

Scam.  I received an e-mail from some lawyer in the Bahamas.  He was supposedly trying to find the relatives of a man with my same last name who had died along with his family in a car crash.   The estate was around $300,000. He said he had been searching for over 3 months and finally found me.  He had narrowed the names down per this guy's will and even though we weren't blood related, the lawyer had a certain time to give the money to someone with the same last name.  I was to call  him or something.  I figured it was a hoax but with my luck it wouldn't be so I e-mailed it to my lawyer who e-mailed this guy telling him to contact her about this "estate".  Never heard a thing back.

it's a scam. they just want your bank account details.

rule of thumb...

if it seems too good to be true, it probably is!
