  1. She lived in Cork, Ireland and claimed to have contact with herself in several previous lives. Under hypnosis she would talk as the other personas might have talked. It was interesting, but I think it was proven to be a fraud.

  3. In 1952 Morey Bernstein wrote this book about Ruth Simmons concerning a past life that she recalled under hypnosis.

    Many people believed this to be a hoax or at best wishful thinking and no evidence of Bride Murphy was ever recovered. However, this was 1800's Ireland and records were poor at best.

    That said the author never writes or publicly stated that he believed in reincarnation. He was simply reporting the story in that he believed it interesting.
