Anybody heard what this guy in PIT said about Kennedy?

So, apparently a sports talk host in Pittsburgh, PA commented about Ted Kennedy, He hoped he "would live long enough to be assassinated.". And then he was fired!!??

What about free speech? I'm sorry, didn't Kennedy kill a young women some 30 years ago? So what, NOW he's man of the year? What is wrong with what this DJ said, it's his opinion, doesn't he have freedom of speech too? Or does that only apply to ultra left wing senators who drown innocent women in a lake?

You're complaining that a DJ got fired for saying that he wanted a 76 year old senator with brain cancer to live longer so somebody could assassinate him?
