I want to know if how much time will it take me to drive my car from Berlin Interntional Airport (Tegel) to Togostrasse 17? How many kilometers or miles do you think would the distance be? Need it ASAP. Tnx.

  1. You can go to www.mapquest.com and click on 'Europe' near the bottom of the page. Then take it from there.

  2. I live in Berlin and checked it out on mapquest, it should be something like 20 minutes because its about 13 kilometres. The exact duration will, of course, depend on how heavy the traffic is.

But if you want a word of advice from someone who's flown into Tegel a couple of times: If you are thinking of getting a rental car, think again and consider public transport. Connections are good and freuquent, a regulard ride costs only something like two euros, plus you can relax and don't have to drive in a town you don't know.

    Either way, enjoy your trip!

  3. you need to look on the maps.

I think the website is (look at the go ogle) www.maps.de or strassenmaps or something. You can put Berlin Tegel and the street you need to go. They tell you how you get there and how long it's take. I'm not from Berlin but I was there many times. Great City....

  4. It depends really on a few factors. Traffic can delay you as in any city so even if map quest which is a great site states it is for example 4 Km and will take you ten minutes by Auto it may take you longer with traffic!! Consider the time of day you are going into your schedule and check to see what the traffic is like by using the radio and getting a local news forecast.

I personally like using the trains and the buses because they get from place to place fairly fast and are very prompt and usually have right of way to other vehicles. I have rented before but I prefer using the public transportation when I am there most times.

Anyways have a fun trip! If you are gonna exchange money, only do what you need to do at the airport, use a local bank if you can with your passport and for a small bank fee they will exchange your money, compare that to the airport and use the one that will get you the most bang for your buck!!
