Our society is nuts! Community living sounds like a blessing. Everybody helps everybody. Shared responsibilities. Still individual domiciles.

  1. Israel has many Kibbutz that are run as a communal living.

    Enjoy.

  2. Lotsa luck. Too many want to share your efforts while thinking their goodwill is enough for them to "share". It's not right.

"Who will help me plant the wheat?" asked the Little Red Hen.

  3. This has already been done before.  In the 60's countless young people tried to live this way and eventually gave it up. If I was able I would go live alone up in the wilderness somewhere and live off the land like the guy on the PBS show.  Modern people living as a tribe will never work because they have a safety net.  When times are hard they can move back home.  Traditional cultures didn't have this luxury.

  4. i would like to live in a tribe but i don;t think it will solve problems in our society i think itr will make it worse because some people belive evryone should be toghether and it will cause ramshackle in our country.

  5. Yeah, it would be great!!! But you are simply dwelling on the nostalgic parts. By living off the land you would endure more hardships when compared to living in modern society. Also, very few would actually be able to make the conversion.

  6. Sounds interesting to me, but america's communes seem to have very small communities at each one.  Like 11 people or so.  Not enough for me.  I'd rather live alone in a cabin.

  7. I would seriously be interested in joining one. Email me and let me know details if you are serious.

  8. I did this in the 60s and no one took baths. Phew!

  9. Communism has been tried.  Does not work well.
