Anybody know any cheap hotels in London?

Question

Basically me and my best friend and her mum and my mum are going up to Camden, and we are hoping to stay over night. We've found reasonable priced Ibis hotels but we have no idea how close to Camden they are?

We'd prefer one within a maximum of 20 minute to 1/2 and hour tube journeys or within walking distance :)

Also if we did go for just one day, could you reccomend a good time to depart from London? The journey home is 2hrs approx :)

Ive been looking for cheap hotels in London during september and the cheapest I've found is around £60 per night per double room (sleeps2).

Which is quite expensive in my opinion but it is London afterall.....ahh well looks like I'll be off to Cardiff on my budget!
